Hello Fellow Members, I'm from NH, my birthday is March 28 1951 and I will be retiring after 34 years of being a production mechanic in June 2013. Next is social work and working towards the big retirement. I've always been interested in Mini's and when I saw this picture something clicked. It's a 2003 R50 with 50,000 miles and it seemed to have my name on it. It was a stress free purchase because it felt like it was mean't to be. I had to use faith for the feeling because it didn't seem practical or real. My car is like a dream coming true and I'll do whatever it takes to retain this feeling. It's an automatic because that's what I wanted and if I have to change it out someday, oh well. I'm going to do most of mechanical work myself as a hobby and because I'm not money rich. For some reason I feel it will be a fun car to work on. I look forward to future fellowship, thanks for letting me join, Denty
Congrats & welcome. Make sure to start fresh w/ preventive maintenance & changing your CVT fluid. MINI is among the rare things in life that's capable of providing lasting enjoyment! It's been quite sometime for me, but still feels like day1.
