new member here but not new to Mini's.
First purchased a 2010 Mini Cooper S hardtop and sold it about 6 months later due to pregnancy and thinking I couldn't fit a baby in there. I know silly me. The only modification on that car was full alta exhaust and nm springs.

Then purchased my 1988 Rover Mini. Needs some work but overall a fun car to drive. Has a standard 998 engine equipped with a MiniSport Stage 1 kit. Plan was to either put a honda engine in it or a 1275 SPI motor. But, since I wanted a newer car my husband is making me sell it.

My newest car is a 2005 Mini Cooper S Cabrio in Hot Orange. The only modds are a sprint booster and new Wheels. Have a set of HR Sport springs on the way. Other planned mods is 17% charger pulley, plugs, ignition, struts, strut tower brace, exhaust, and a tune. Any recommendations for sites or brands for any of these would be appreciated.

:cornut: Welcome to MA. All of your MINIs and your Mini are/were nice looking cars. Assuming that that's your son playing around the Mini, your husband just needs a little convincing that the family that MINIs together, stays together. Automotive mechanical things enhance Father/Son male bonding and will keep those two together even through the teen years. Good luck.

Welcome to MA. All of your Minis are great. I would hate to get rid of the 1988, but I do like the 05.
