We here in the States are not blessed with the Cooper SD, but we can watch the advertising. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-J4zYE5gBxA[/ame]
geez, I didn't do the math, the spreadsheet did! I just set up the file to show the ROI calc for that car. Bottom line: don't buy it b/c you think you'll save money on fuel over the gas version.
Hmmmmmm... There just doesn't seem to be that kind if difference needed between the two engine technologies. It must be in the urea injecting system?? Still seems high for a diesel.
I love diesels and would totally buy one if it came to the states. Sent from my iPhone 4 using Tapatalk
:cornut:??????????????????? I'm being serious(no filthy humor expressed or implied)here. To us medical types, Urea implies Urine. I wasn't aware of a Urine injection system and boy would that leave deposits on the valve from 'back wash' when the valves opened after combustion. Whether real or a joke, please dumb it down for me and explain. Jasonopcorn:opcorn:
Method to allow modern diesels to meet NOx EPA emission standards. Mercedes calls their system Bluetec. Sorry.... Nothing else implied.
:cornut:Thank you! I didn't THINK that it was a joke........what ever......... but not being current on Bluetec, I had no idea what you were talking about. Again, thank you. Jasonopcorn:
Ok.... I simply LOVE the fact that the commercial shows how spacious the camper is inside...kind of like how people think the MINI doesn't have any comfortable space...that is, until they actually get inside one!
I'm wondering who is the intended audience for this ad? The guy's speaking English, but it's a left-hand-drive car . . .
My thoughts exactly...why does the driver have an american accent, why is the car left hand drive, and who are they selling this to???
DMV is too lazy to test their own cars up here...if it doesnt pass American standards then it wont make it up here either...Hell, we are manufacturing an all electric city car that we cant even buy! Maybe MINI is selling the all-american dream to europe
