Hi, everyone. After weeks of searching for the right R53 with a 6-speed manual, I finally found one that was up to the task of staying within my budget/decent miles/service history. I'ts a Oct 2006 build Hyper Blue Metallic with English panther leather. I bought it from the original owner with 65k on the odometer. It came with the the following: CWP Premium Package Sport Package Center console Armrest The previous owner added: JCW exhaust JCW airbox JCW suspension JCW strut tower brace Racing Dynamics shock tower brace Alta 19mm rear strut bar Front and rear poly control arm bushings 15% pulley OZ Forgiata 17" wheels The car came with a stack of service receipts from a local indy garage. The owner's manual even had the original window sticker. I brought the car home with the S-Lites+snow tires on, the OZs have tires that have maybe 4/32" tread left. I'll probably use up the tread this summer then buy new tires for next spring/summer. On with the pics:
:cornut: Beautiful R53. 1st post, welcome to MA. I'd swear that I saw that car featured in MC2 magazine a few years back. I'll have to check the old issues. Jason
Welcome to the addiction! I saw this MINI posted for sale on the sewing site.....you've arrived where you should be. Very nice R53!
Yes, it was listed on nearby craigslist as well as the other forum. Since I'm the noob, can you tell me why it's referred to as the "sewing site"?
Great to see this one went to a good home. I was trying to have it checked out for me, but I am in CO and it was proving to be a challenge. It's a nice looking MINI! I managed to find a 2006 MCS close to home.
