Hi all, I'm Jay. I'm from Brownsville, TX, which is the southernmost part of Texas and the second southernmost city in the US. I purchased a 2005 MINI S with the JCW package a few months ago. Dark silver with a roof rack, HK system. The previous owner put in a parcel shelf and iPod integration. I accidentally broke the part that plugs into the phone, so I replaced it with a new system from iPhone solutions. The only thing I've done is get some Continental 205/50/R17's which I love driving on. Recently started leaking transmission fluid so it's just sitting in the garage while I locate a MINI-savvy mechanic. I really enjoy researching the many upgrades to my MINI and the wealth of information the internet and forums provide. It;s also fun to see the various personalities associated with these cars. Welcome! I like the grey! I'm in San Antonio....if you ever get up this way would love to meet you. I've never "kept" my own car before...just used to buy and drive. "Workin" a Mini is great fun. Congrats.
