I Have always wanted a Mini and i finally got one about two years ago and the past year i have decided to start the process if upgrading it and personalizing it in my own way! The 04 s R53 is just a ton of fun and there are so many possibilities. just making the thread to say hello and ill be here to stay. along with a few stuff iv done with it/ ill periodically update my garage and make new forums to most likely ask for help on a few things definitely wish i found this forum a while back when the Supercharger blew up on me if there was any cheaper alternative to fix it. im just at about 220HP at the moment wanting to get to 250 or higher but 250 seems more reasonable than higher than that on such a lightweight car. Upgrades -sprintex supercharger -17% supercharger pulley -2% crankwheel -DT BPV -Borla Exhaust -soon cat and res delete. -upgraded headbolts -DT Tentioner stop -Weapon R CAI coming soon -custom exhaust by local shop -custom headers -new radiator -Intercooler -ignition pack and plugs and wires -dyno Maybe -meth injection - really uneasy about it sense i do not know much about it but i have heard good and bad reviews unsure what to look for. Any tips and tricks are greatly appreciated 140k and strong!
Wow...looks like you're off to a great start! Must be an eye opener when the local muscle car guys get waxed when you roll by!
I have over 250 WHP and I am not stomping real built muscle cars unless they are on twisty roads. Remember all those muscle cars are very quick in a 1/4 mile. Don't get me wrong I can keep up (still see them) but I am not beating them in a 1/2 mile. I have to wait until they top out then I can reel them in and roll right by. Now if you are talking about some teen with his dads Mustang, Corvette or Camaro they are no problem because they don't know how to drive. They just dump the clutch at 4 or 5 grand and smoke up the tires and before they figure out they do not have any traction I am long gone. :ihih::lol::devil:
Hahaha...That second part is exactly what I mean. And I guess I use the term muscle car a little too loosely. The real muscle cars of yesteryear are cars I would never even think to mess with. Especially the built ones. Because like you said, unless we are playing on the Nurburgring, they will likely destroy me. But the "muscle cars" of today that I usually see are piloted by inexperienced drivers tooling down the freeway on daddy's dollars.
Just be careful you don't pull up to one of these and try to race it. It has over 700 HP stock from the factory. Dodge releases Hellcat ringtone | Digital Trends
