Hi all, Been lurking a bit, and decided it was time to join for real! I'm an old BMW junkie, and have spent more time laying under 70s, 80s, and 90s BMWs than I care to admit. Recently replaced my daily (540i 6) with a new Cooper S. I couldn't be happier with the car, especially after break in! Apparently my wife was pretty happy with it too... Two weeks after I picked up my S, she ended up with a new Countryman S! The cars are eerily similar, but different enough to be fun to switch back and forth into. I'm glad to have this great resource, I expect between the two of us the MINI enthusiasm I'd going to need an online outlet for some time!

Dude, we must be related! I recently traded my 2010 S for a new Countryman, which my wife promptly took over, so I have a 2005 S for me being delivered tomorrow morning. Both are red, and I plan to set them up exactly the same; black tops and wheels, etc. Everyone should have a matched set!!!
