New to me Mini S

    I purchased a 2010 Mini S today, looking through the forums now. I am having a problem hooking up my iPod (USB plug says empty when I plug it in)

    You gotta get a Y adapter. The one from mini is kinda pricey, but you can find em on amazon and eBay.

    Why can't you use the USB cord from the iPod?

    Then the usb can be used with a thumb drive with music on it?
