Laugh, roll your eyes, criticize all you like, I just think it's entertaining. I've been watching the videos they've posted all along as they built this thing because I'm curious to see how it turns out. If you've never heard of it, they crammed the running gear (etc) from a GT-R into a Juke. Why? Dunno. Supposedly at first it was just a "because we can" exercise. However, I've read recently that Nismo are planning to build a "Juke-R inspired" version to sell to the public. I think that idea also deserves a "why?" Nevertheless, I'm still curious to see how well this thing goes. Unfortunately, in the end it still looks like a Juke...though a little better than the street version... Building a GTR inside a Juke seems a lot like the craft of building ships in a bottle. How they can do either is beyond me. Jim time to see the optometrist.
In Jim's defense it is the best looking Juke I have seen, and probably a riot to drive...but at the end of the day it still looks like a Juke.
I WANT ONE ! ! LOL.....and it doesn't look to bad. Remember all the "looks" we got when we first got our MINI's.
I like frogs as much as the next guy. I hear their legs are delicious.:drool Way back when I drove a Frog Eye Sprite. :biggrin5:
What was the home office doing all this time...... They certainly could have put the ca-bash on it a while ago.... This thing wasn't made overnight. Yeah it's ugly..... But awesome too..... Might be quicker than their halo GT-R, can't have that now can we......
So the Juke is about $20k and the GT-R is about $90k. Combine the two, split the price and you have something that is butt ugly and wickedly fast for about $55k? I'd go in for one. PS3 instrument panel and all.
Looks like fun..... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaqeY2e6Uf0]Nissan Juke-R Dubai.wmv - YouTube[/ame]
