Hi, Im having a day of doing repair work to the mini and i came across a problem. For reference, my car is a 2004 mcs mc40 with multiple upgrades. I went to seafoam my car and pulled the vacuum line off of the crankcase and... no suction. I have the alta intake and the oil catch can so the lines are aftermarket. These were installed by the previous owner so i do know if it was done correctly. I do have a cel that reads the code for gross evaporator system leak if this makes a difference. Does anyone know what could cause there to be no suction?

    Thanks in advance,
    Hayden

Which hose are you trying to use, driver or passenger side?

I was trying to use the one on the passengers side. If you are looking at it, the one to the left of the ignition coils. I do have a split in the one on the drivers side below the oil cap if that makes a difference.

    Thanks,
    Hayden
