Just remarking on a nice event this past Saturday at MINI of STL, their "Not Normal" marketing event. It was the last sales / customer appreciation event at their Clayton location (their new digs in Brentwood will open in December), and they did it up nicely with an elaborate spread of German foods, biers, and lederhosen'd accordion players. We hung for a while and ate too much, also ogled an Ice Blue/White MCS they had on the sales floor (!) as well as a Chili Red Roadster. Made for a nice day for sure.
RS MINI in Littleton put on the dog on the 20th, also. They went all out with catered in food and costumes for the staff. It was interesting to say the least. If you were looking the the cert for $750 is nice. Don
Nice to see that some dealers do "get it" Our local dealer here in Central Ohio doesn't. Their event was terrible. They might as well not even bother.
^ Yep Nathan is correct. Our local dealer had an empty showroom & acted like the folks who bothered to come in had leprosy. I just can not figure the sales team out at our local dealer. Service side is great, sales sucks big time. It's a wonderment???
Just asking....... Are the Sales Advisor's MINI people? Do any of them own a MINI? Sometimes dealers hire "Salesman / Saleswoman" And they may be great at selling "Cars", but we all know that a MINI is not "Just a Car" I feel bad that the sales advisors do not seem to care. Part of MINI is the experience, We do our best at our dealer to give everyone an experience. We try to make this a NOT NORMAL car dealer. I hope that your local dealer can do the same.
