2nd Gen R56 Cooper S Nothing covering the steering wheel stick?

    Down at the R56 pedals, behind the speedo pedal (i hope thats what its called), runs the steering wheel stick (i hope thats what its called too). Right now as i see it its bare and you can see the metallic stick. Is that how its supposed to be or is it cover by some fabric/plastic? I think it was covered with something but after i took it from the mechanic and looked at it, it seemed strange that it was bare with nothing covering it!

    Steering column I believe is the word you are looking for. Pictures would help in a situation like this. Some of the column is covered and some of it is not.

    Yup if you are talking about the steering column buy the pedals it's not covered.

    His stick is naked!!! Think there was a rock band like that "Bare-naked....." Hm...can't quite place the rest...maybe this threads should have a NSFW TAG.......could get ugly!!
