    Hi, All:
    This is my first post.
Oil pressure light came on/blinked off a couple of times in my 2006 Cooper S, 31,000 miles.

History: The car had been parked for a couple of months, pending NJ State Inspection Sticker. Took the car to the Inspection Station on Saturday. Started up fine, ran fine to the inspection station. Passed smog check, no problem. Driving home (about 10 miles) the oil pressure light blinked on and off a couple of times while cruising on the freeway. Pulled over, checked the oil. No problem, right at the max mark, and very clean. (Perhaps less than 2,000 miles since oil/filter change at dealer). Continued driving home, light blinked on once, but continued running fine.

Drove car yesterday (Sunday). No light, no problems, engine sounds fine.

Only recent service was the replacement of a leaking a/c condenser. I don't see how that could be related.

    Any ideas?

    Maybe a bad sensor?
I'd have it checked out though.
