Purchased (4) of these when I updated the suspension on the (2) R53's on our household. Installed them carefully and properly.

The rubber separated on (3) of them within 1500 miles, (1) of them within 500 miles... and they're not warranteed. Waste of funds and (my) labor. Noted that the steel-rubber bonding surface was rusted when they separated. Clearly the quality just isn't there.

    Buyer beware.

The father of one of our apprentices works at the Monroe, MI, facility. This is, I believe, just a head office/R&D/test facility, and all of the production is done overseas.

Thanks for the heads up. I'd say oem or IE fixed plates. The IE plates are beefy.

eMINIparts.com can get you the oem pdq.

IE fixed are beefy, but you need to be sure your chassis is aligned (camber) before installing. IE adjustables require some "finesse-ing" and maintenance to make work well, but I got a set cheap and am using them successfully. I now have some OE's lying in wait, just in case.
