Blimey (2006 automatic) has started throwing P0700 codes intermittantly. Also sometimes throwing a P1776 (Solenoid Switch Valve Latched in Low Reverse Position). No noticeable transmission symptoms otherwise - runs and shifts fine. Any gurus seen this before? And, if so, what was the resolution?

"New Transmission" is not what I want to hear.

Also not looking for "buy a manual, you loser" responses.

    Check the connectors

on the auto transmission. If everything is running well, let's hope it's just a loose connection that makes it think it's not running right.

But no, never seen this one before. Whatever it is, please share so we can all learn from it.

Yep - I'm having the ubiquitous left front wheel sensor errors (intermittent also) and some intermittent CAN bus errors. Time to unplug everything under the bonnet, clean, dielectric grease and reconnect.

You need a new transmission, Paul. Oh, and you should have bought a manual...loser.

Seriously, bring it by when you can, perhaps my scanner will do something yours won't. Besides, I owe you one :)
