Looking to get a set of new wheels for my 02 MCS!

Was hoping some people could provide me with some sort of muse for what I am going to be looking at as far as style, stance, fitment and so forth as well as what kind of drop I will need to get it all to mesh and flow properly!

Looking for MCS models on 15" wheels, preferably low offset and low profile tires.

Pure Silver is a plus

If you go to tirerack.com you can chose you wheels and see how they look on your color MINI.

Yea I was aware to this before, but Tire Rack just doesn't offer any low offset wheels for the Mini Cooper, or should I say that they dont deem the wheels "proper" offset so it wont let me view them on there.

Hoping I can find somebody here with some low offset 15 inch pictures, help me get an idea of what offsets are acceptable

Kosei's craigslist with 205/50/15. New stock(ish) suspension, powerflex front bushings. Could be lower, but it's a great DD and plenty fast...

That's why we call you the "Big 15 Inch"! Pictures don't do Jason's car justice, it looks absolutely brutal on those 15x9's...

At our cabin at MOTD we had 3 R53's and a Justa, ALL OF THEM on 205/50/15 tires... lightweight and GRIPPY. Also changed the gear ratios just enough to allow the MCS's (all with pulleys) to cruise the Dragon at a good rate of speed mainly just riding the torque wave in 3rd.

...and if anything they're "awesomer" in person.
Jason, your car's purposeful "stance" is fantastic.

just got my 15s and loving them

    enkei pf01 15x8 et35
20mm spacer front to clear dynapro caliper
5mm spacer back to clear trailing arm

    weight ~13lbs and 225/45 hankook rs3

suspension is stock beside from camber plates (set to -2) and just put it back on the ground after putting them on hence the absurd wheel gap :blush2:

I have the same gap with my smaller 15's. I think it looks fine. I don't get caught up in this stance thing. Let us know how it changed the performance.

yeah i am not too worried as it is more of track car then show car, beside small diameter wide wheels that barely fit over the brakes is very f1 :p
autoX this weekend and track day next weekend! the star specs where getting a bit geasy towards the end of sessions now it is getting hotter, heard the rs3 takes the heat a bit better and 225 should let me get on the gas quicker!
