Sorry I can't help. But I think your Mini would look great with tinted windows. Top up windows up the car will have a dark look. Windows down top down will be a completely different look. Two cars in one. The black top tinted window and gray will look great.
@tsmetjen I tined your windows in Photoshop. I know its not perfect but maybe it will give you an ideal of what your car would look
Thx a lot @MCS02! In Belgium we are not allowed to tint the front windows, only the rear and rear passengerwindows. So I was looking for a pic with the roof down and the windows up, because I think that will look strange. And thats the way we ride here roof down, windscreen and windows up. OK - so I did some looking, I found some other cars with tinted windows but not a mini.. after looking at them, I see the concern. I would do a light grey tint compared to black. That would look really good. Are you familiar with that?
So you cant even do the front side windows? Here we can do them but not too dark. its for the safety of police officers. You can get away with doing it dark here as long as you roll the windows down be for the cop gets to you so he can see in the car. Not that I have ever been pulled over. I think I would just black out all the chrome and not do the windows. Just the back and back side is not worth it.
Perhaps he could get one of those stick on, darkened interior sunscreens for the windshield. This is the kind like those on European semis to keep the afternoon sunshine from blinding the driver. It's not an attached shield[ like those on the outside and at the top of the windshield], but a film put on the inside of the windshield. It goes from edge to edge and is curved to match the MINI's curved windshield. I have one in my R53 as well as another in my R50 and they work well at cutting down the sun's glare while just looking good. In fact, they compliment whatever real tinted windows you have. Mine and have never been "scrutinized" by any gendarmes
