How do you know if the power steering pump fan(and circuitry) is working? Is there a test i can preform? I found that my powering steering pump fan had seized so I replaced it with a new unit from Detroit Tuned. I then noticed that the 5a fuse for that circuit, the one in the kick panel, was bad and replaced it as well. Luckily it's still cold here so I'm not so frightened of burning the pump up but would really like to test the fan before it gets warm out. Any thoughts?

I seem to remember reading or hearing that the P/S fan comes on when the AC is on. Be careful under a running vehicle. Better yet call Chad tomorrow & ask him. He'll know.
