It is time to let go of the convertible. Pulling some parts off an offering them for sale: 1. JCW Leather Stearing Wheel (all leather). This is the one that is no longer available from BMW. I prefer it to the Alcantara one in my other car, but the wife doesn't. So this one is for sale. Asking SOLD. 2. R52 Wind Deflector. Black. Gently used and in excellent shape. Asking $320. 3. Parcel shelf with the rubber mat. Asking $125 (SOLD) 4. Arm rest. The good one. I have both versions and this one is superior to what Mini offered later. In perfect shape. Image bellow is borrowed from Outmotoring.com Asking SOLd 5. Glove box organizer. Yellow felt. Asking $25 (SOLD) 6. Ian Cullin's Auto Up. One of the early versions with DSC. This one has and is programmed for true one touch auto up. No double tapping the toggles. (SOLD) 7. Two (2) R52 top commander. Not sure how I ended up with two. They are $69.95 from FES (Top Commander for R52). Asking $40 each. All prices are OBO and all items are being sold as is. Buyer pays shipping. If paying with paypal, please add 3%. PM me if you want pictures, or have other questions.
I've had it for a few years. There is no wear. This car has only seen 4-5k/year in the past 4-5 years.
Man, if I didn't already order a B&D wheel I would be all over that wheel! The Alcantara look great when new but the leather always looks great!
Sorry for the small high jack, but this is the B&D that I'm getting.... Back to the regularly scheduled thread....
:cornut: As Joliet Jake Blues said-"Your wife, how much for your wife?"(said only in jest and as a compliment to your lovely wife) Jason
Is that wheel cheaper because it is not a full circle? Reminds me of VW & Audrey wheels. Back on topic.... Buy Jinky's parts.
Yes, it is the one that bolts under the rear of the front seats. i have not idea if it would work in an R55. They look identical in pictures, but I don't have an R55 to test on.
Pictures of the wind deflector. The only thing missing is a little rubber nib wich I think is a rest for when the deflector is folded down. Didn't even realize it was missing until I inspected the thing today:
