Okay, so for a while now the car had been leaking coolant. At first a little, but now much more. I am filling the tank about once a week now. There is the "normal" white stuff on the tank, coming from the crappy cap. There doesn't seem to me be any on the right side of the motor, but on the left, on top of the transmission case, there is a lot. Have not been able to find were this is coming from. Our 2005 S had the thermostat leak, but that, if I recall, was in the right side. Memory on that might be reversed on the side though. Car does have 110,000 miles so the hoses, all or some, may have lived their lives. Any sudggerstion on what is leaking?

Thanks but that is not it. I have a Just-a-Cooper, Cooper. Non-S. The Cooper S had the thermostat gasket leak which was fixed. The Just-a-Cooper Cooper non-S seems to be leaking from the side of the motor, under/beside the air box. pixs to follow soon.

Sweet, kind of... I was thinking that was what it was; seems like a do-it-yourself project. Thanks!
