The title says it all. I took the rear apart today and found the motor has torn itself completely clear of the housing and various armature pieces are broken. I'll consider a tremendously good deal on just the motor, but it looks a lot more complicated to replace that rather than just put a whole assembly in.
Many folks just remove the arm, and install a plug....the old $1 rear wiper delete.... It is a useful part IMO....you might find a used one from somebody parting out a car ... Wonder if somebody tried to use it on a car covered in ice....and it broke....
Damn, that's messed up. You will need the whole works. Scrap yard or new.....or just leave it off and plug the hole. Depends on how dirty the window gets in your area.
