I have a r53 and when traction control is off only one tire spins...whyyyyyy!!!!......but on the other seems to catch is it getting power or is it some kind of dif
Turn off DSC and rev to 4 or 5k and dump the clutch. If you leave two black lines you have an LSD / Posi traction. If you only have one line you don’t . Lol
Limited Slip was an option... If you don't know if your car had it, you can look it up with the VIN. My guess is that you don't have it thus one tire.
Ok Hear you go. Put in your vin and it will give you all your options. http://myminivin.com But Dave's way is funner.
I don't understand why they wouldn't make them all ls trans especially in the s models I can't stand only getting power to the one wheel
Because it costs more to make, and 99.99% of buyers didn't want to pay extra for it. In fact, MINI eventually eliminated the option because so few buyers ordered it (the numbers were extremely low, like 100 per year across the US). As you saw, traction control performs a similar function, and it works well enough for the general public. Mechanical limited slip is disappearing across the industry, replaced by electronic systems.
That's what I heard or saw in here actually ..its a shame it's 1200 dollars for the one I'm looking at id love to make this my daily and keep up with some faster cars
