Ok so after a long day of everyone pissing and moaning all day here on MA, I thought I would start a more light harted thread.

So does anyone play any racing games? If so which one? And if you do, do you have a Mini in the game that you made look like the one you own? There's no shame here. You can admit to it :D

I play GT5 when I can, so that's not to often. My boys like Forza. One of my sons has a killer Mini in Forza he built. And of course I have a Mini in GT5 just like my real one.

Oh yea nobody start talking about what kind of HP their game car makes :biggrin5::biggrin5::biggrin5:

I'm big time into GT5 and frequently race on-line, same screen name. The Coupe is not an available car so my on line MINI is an R53. Great gaming set-up using an Open Wheeler full seat platform with a Logitech G-27 controller sitting in front of a 110" HD Screen. Most of my time is spent in the German Touring Car Division racing a prepared M3. Yea.....I'm a sick man!

CHKMINI I don't know about sick I would say lucky. I still sit on the coffee table as close to the TV as I can so its almost like a 110deg screen. I don't have a steering wheel yet but it's in the plans, probably the GT5 wheel.
I haven't played online yet, I don't want my clock cleaned just yet. Maybe once I improve.

Every racing game. My rule is that if the car normally has a gearbox I use the shifter. If it has a sequential gearbox I use the paddles.

:cornut: Nope Sorry. But I like getting together with old veteran buddies around here. Smoke cigars, drink Starbucks, tell lies, compare cars, go to the rifle/pistol range, play with Ham radios, go camping, deer(not dear) hunting, scuba. thumbsup:

OK I'm a wimp.Till I get a wheel I let the game shift for me.

Jason I love the range I use to compete in USPSA events. Problem is 40cal is getting expensive. I have a requal coming up and I can hardly afford to practice.

GT5 is a great escape. I turn my mind off and have fun. :arf:

My other escape from the BS going on is working on my old Indian. A little Eagles or Seger thats therapy!

:Thumbsup:I don't have a bike myself but I have had. You have an INDIAN! You're a scholar sir. Although I once heard an old biker say that at least Harley guys can read and write but he was an abused child with brain damage.

Yea at a kindergarten level. My Step-dad sold Indians till Indian went under. I asked if he wanted to see the new Harley shop. I cant repeat his answer. :mad5: The true American Bike is Indian that other company is just a cheap copy. :biggrin5:
