MINI’s latest concept is going into production. However we’ve heard through sources that its name may not follow it. Yes the Paceman will likely be called something entirely different. Could it be something as simple as the Countryman Coupe? Or perhaps another crafty name featuring “man” in there? We have our own ideas but we (and MINI) wants to hear yours. Now for those who may have missed all our reporting on the new sport activity coupe (BMW’s term not ours) the Paceman debuted at the Detroit auto show in three door form with two doors and a standard hatch. However we’ve confirmed through sources that MINI will likely add two rear hinged small suicide doors similar to the one that’s currently on the Clubman. MINI will have a tough time fitting the new car between other model debuts but our guess is that it will debut sometime in late 2013 or early 2014.
