So can somebody tell me whats involved in removing the rear boot-handle-trunk-lid-grip-thingy? Its referred to by so many different names I didn't know what to use, so I used 'em all :D

Is it just the four torx screws that I see when I look up from the license plate? I'm thinking of swapping mine for a black vinyl wrapped one. Speaking of which does anybody have an R56 rear boot-handle-trunk-lid-grip-thingy they don't want that I can get wrapped in vinyl? :ihih:

I swapped mine for a CF JCW handle, and all I can remember are the 4 torx screws... Undo them and tug.

I was about to suggest picking up a Bentley or Haynes manual (not just for this, you'll go back to it for other things) but I don't think I've seen anything like that for R56 yet. Am I wrong? Anyone found an R56 service type manual yet?

Oh No.............. Someone at the MINI plant used water tank silicone instead of auto grade.
