    As you will see it is a long block, anyway I was trying to find a good spot for a camera mount that picks up the exhaust note, this one works pretty good but still windnoise, just need a MINI center frame playing keep up, will do that at MOTD. :biggrin5:

    If that's a Go-Pro have you changed the setting on the sound? There's a filter of some sort.....

    If a regular vid cam, I use a couple layers of duct tape to mitigate the wind noise on my track vids.....

    You have very long blocks in your hood! :)

    Yes it is a GoPro HD, not a GO pro 2, I think the 2 has sound settings

    Well, if you can find the mic opening you might be able to try the tape method and see if it works for you....

    Had not thought about cotton, could stuff a little around the mic then put it in the waterproof housing, I have tried tape, mixed results but that was with the camera fully exposed to the wind, this was stuck on the boot right below the plate.
