2nd Gen R56 Cooper S "S" Is Growing On Me

    Understand I had never driven (still haven't) one or even ridden in one until now. As is normal, my wife was a tad afraid of it at first, coming from a 2001 Explorer, but yesterday I found that she is starting to get the hang of it. She stomped that thing and almost "over merged" off the entry ramp. I also noticed that she is doing 65 around 2K, where I am around 3K. I hate to admit that I am starting to like it. I went to the configurer today and messed around. I build a Coupe, cheaper then a Roadster, even with the JCW package. :cornut:

    Justa Jim you inspired me to go with my Justa Clubman, lol. But I am actually in the searching phase to find me a Clubby S to trade in my 4 week old Justa for as well. Mini of Reno is in talks with East bay Mini to make a trade with them for the S I am looking for but no response as of yet. Best of luck to you and enjoy the Kool-Aid!!!

    Easy Peezy Jim, buy the S Coupe, spend a few more $$ on your first mod, hang a Justa Coupe Bonnet on your S Coupe. :biggrin5:

    Might have to louver the bonnet, could be cool. :ihih:

    I have been tempted to let my 07 morph into a Coupe or Roadster, but I decided to do more mods. :Thumbsup:

    I do like the gearing, the extra punch and a number of other things, but having driven the justa for so long, I can't help but notice how quickly the little lights on the fuel gauge go out. Of course, they have done something about that when I ready to trade. :D

    I was in my friend Tom's CoupesterS last week & his dash said he was averaging 38MPG. Not too shabby.

    Now that I can live with. The CM is getting about 32, which is about what it said and way better then the Explorer.
