ARGH! I have new neighbors & their friends are over watching the football game. I was checking the fuses in the footwell, so of course my backside was sticking out since I was kneeling next to the car. Jerk #1 comes outside to smoke a cigarette and comments to Jerk #2: #1: Do you think that's a guy or girl working on that MINI? #2: It's got to be a guy since girls don't know how to work on American cars let alone imports, but that's a girly butt (<---NOT the term he used, of course!) for a guy. #1: You're right, that IS a nice butt...too bad it's on a guy. #1 & #2: Hey, MINI Cooper! Hey, MINI COOPER! HEY, MINI COOPER!!! (At this point, I'm done checking the fuses, but getting more than a little bit perturbed.) I stand up and turn around to face them while they're still standing on the porch. #1: Oh, DAYUM! It's a CHICK!!! #2: Wow...it IS a CHICK! AND SHE'S WORKING ON HER CAR!!! Me: Why is that so surprising? #1: Well, um...most chicks only know how to put gas in their car, let alone work on it. Me: Don't you think that's a bit sexist? #2: Oh, man... #1: Well, statistics prove that most chicks really only know how to put gas in their car and maybe know how to check their oil. Me: First of all, I'm not "a chick". Secondly, I don't know what kind of females you associate with, but there are many of us in the MINI group who not only know HOW to check the oil, but we know how to CHANGE it, too! In fact, I do nearly all the maintenance work on my MINI. #1: Oh, SNAP! Well, um...let me know if you need any help. Me: Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Erika such idiots do not deserve you replying to them. My guess is that they are mentally challenged & swilling beer while watching the game did nothing to raise their IQ's.

Props to you for working on your own MINI. Those guys didn't even deserve to hear a response from you at all. Funny thing is they most likely don't even do any work on their own cars.
Think it was Mark Twain who once said something like: "Better for people to think you a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt..." This statement would apply to these chaps....
