Im thinking of changing my silver crown spoke 17" rims with white rims (not specifically crown spoke), but sporty white ones! Im trying to get ideas on what is out there to choose. You are most welcome to contribute by posting your photos in this thread!
Changed the title to reflect the subject better. A wheel is comprised of a hub, spokes and rim. Sometimes these components will be one piece, sometimes two or three. The hub is the center portion of the wheel and is what attaches the wheel to the suspension. The spokes radiate out from the hub and attach to the rim. The rim is the outer part of the wheel that holds the tire. While many people refer to wheels as "rims," this is technically incorrect.
Amen. This is one of my pet peeves. Right up there with people who say Eastern Standard Time, or use EST all year long. Hey, most of the year it's Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), so they are not even right half the time.
