Hydro will leave a polymer wax protection on your paint. Slick has more lubricants for gently lifting dirt from your paint. Two different product for two different applications.
Slick - Quick detailing, bird poo eliminator, bug guts cleaner and fingerprint remover.
Hydro - Wax as you dry, dry and shine, great for glass, paint, wheels and trim.

Slick will look good for a day or 2.

Hydro will look good for a week or so.

Slick works better as a cleaner. Hydro works better as a sealant.

    They do cross over somewhat.

I find I use Hydro every wash. Sometimes when I do not have a lot of time I will wash with Hydro (liberal application) buy a gallon or so.

I do spot clean with Slick for bird poo and bug residue. Also works great for the A-Posts with a very soft Micro Fiber (Monster Fluffy via DP).

    Thanks.........

I was worried I was using too much Hydro (using as an after wash spray)

Looks like a gallon purchase is now needed.

You can't use it to often, but you can use to much. One-two spritzes per panel is all it takes.

There is a real good price break if you buy 45 gallon barrels:p

It's just such a pain getting the UPS guy to bring the 45gallon drums of it up to my second floor apartment.

Hydro is a wax that protects.
Slick is a quick detailer that adds gloss to your paint without protection.

In the real world? Hydro will stay on your paint after you wash your car or after it gets dirty.

    Slick is temporary.
