Well I had a exciting weekend going to Pittsburgh for a Match Tour and came out on top. 2 top SMF cars broke so I only had to worry about one Civic with 2 drivers. No video just some pictures.

I hate to ask a question and show how stupid I am, but why are the brake ducts taped up? Nice run!

Maybe he could not run the ducts in his class ?

Or maybe he needed areo over cooling since it was only 40 degrees that day.

Nice run - when watching the video sounds like you were getting a little tire spin when on the throttle coming out of turns. Did I hear that correct or was that the intake noise?

Those arent his brake ducts. Those are his fog lamps. The brake ducts are inboard connected to the lower grille.

My guess is that he was protecting his fog lamps from getting whacked too hard if he tagged a cone.

Also, GREAT JOB! BS Cup or not you drove well and that is proof. Keep up the good work.

Good run. Your driving has improved immensely from those first runs I saw.

I can tell it's cold. You were sawing away at the wheel on longer radius turns. Your MINI was pushing harder than a 3rd grade bully in a few of those turns. Lack of grip sucks but you kept on it.

Throttle sounded a bit on/off versus smooth increase decrease in power. That may just be your exhaust or the tune you are running though. Hard to tell without seeing your foot.

Oh! You're daughter is a cutie. I hope she had fun. :)

Yes I’m still getting tire spin out of corners with my Quaife LSD. I put in the Quaife before I thought I would be autocrossing.

Not sure why I never get notified but thanks for the comments guys.

I couldn’t get my tires heated up at all. So it was hard trying to keep a clean run.

Not doing anymore National events this year except maybe the last one at Lincoln Nebraska. Just to do it for the experience. Still doing lots of local events the rest of the year to continue to learn and have fun.
