    Hey all.
I got in an accident a coule years back where my side curtain airbag blew. Well fast forward to today.

I am planning to install a recaro bucket this afternoon and thought about what i am going to do with the seat airbag. I was debating whether i should get a resistor for the seat or just leave it unplugged.

    What I was wondering was,

    1) is it safe to leave it unplugged as theres no side airbag

    2) will front airbags work even the side curtain blew/seat airpag plug open

    Thanks in advance!

:cornut: Man, you're way over my head(not hard to do) so I'll just bump this as we do have people who will know the answer. My Margi(08 R56 MCS/JCWm) does have side air bags and simple safety logic says, that if your car is a street car and has side air bags, KEEP THEM! Good Luck.

Depends on whether your car will pass inspection with the airbag light on. If no, then you need a resistor. Otherwise, depends on your tolerance for pain. =)
