From time to time, I see posts in various other forums or have friends talk about adding TCW-3 2-cycle oil to the fuel. Some report it does nothing while others claim it does everything except cure a cold. Without inviting a bunch of opinions (Yeah, I know, fat chance of that happening ), wondering whether or not anyone has direct, personal experience using TCW-3 and benefits/problems that resulted.
I have never heard of this before. I guess I will have to read up on it. All I ever to my fuel is Techtron ever other tank to keep the fuel path clean before it meets the meth in the cylinder.
Sounds interesting.........Saw some other forums talking about this....Some guys swearing by it saying its the best ever...:skep:
May be the placebo effect or maybe it does work??? I'd be worried about killing the Cadillac converter, not a cheap part to replace. Techron is what I use to keep things clean. I have a can of SAAB High-M 2 stroke oil. Maybe I should throw that in so I can drive my MINI SAAB like Eric Carlson. Guess I'll be reading up on this too.
I also did some research and it looks like people add 1 oz per 5 gal of gas and keeps your fuel pump and other parts of the fuel line "lubed" and help fight the affects of ethanol fuel on seals. I did my research via Google and cam across a lot of threads on Bob the oil guys site. (Good info) I wont be adding it to my fuel as I run Sunoco 93 or Shell 93 all the time with my Meth kit and put a full tank of race fuel in when I am at the Dragon.
