Sunday - Wednesday, my son & and I are leaving Louisiana to go look at schools in Texas (UT Austin :cornut:, Baylor, & A&M). If I see a Mini, I'll wave. Texas folks, watch for a BRG 06 S convertible with black & chrome bonnet stripes & bayou state plates.

Hope it was a safe and productive trip. Those are three totally different schools, did one stand out over the others?

Awesome trip - great food, fun roads, lots of info. It was fun seeing Austin again after 30 years and really fun meeting up with long lost old friends. I'm afraid UT did not impress my son that much. He started perking up when we got to Baylor, but I think his favorite was A&M. We were there the day before their Thanksgiving day game with UT, so it was cool seeing the game when I had been in the stadium just the previous day. Also cool that UT beat them (hook 'em!).

You raised one smart kid there!! If he has any questions regarding A&M from a non-reg student's view point contact Michael in the Aggieland Mini forum (southwest region here). If he is considering the Corps and has any questions let me know & I'll send you my son's info.
That was a good football game, the best the Ags played all year. You would never know which team would show up for a game.

Good luck to him where ever he decides to go.

Thanks, he is a smart kid and has made a lot of wise choices in the last few years. We are really proud of him. I got the feeling from A&M that they really encourage caring for each other, and that is the sort of thing a parent likes to hear.
