Well, new to me. What are these guys doing, and why? I have an idea but don't like to assume and wonder whether anyone has seen this before and would like to explain. Pic taken this morning, I think, in Bahrain. Caption reads "... leaving nothing to chance."
Warming up the hammers. Follow the reasoning here.... Oak Racing running a Morgan / Nissan We all know Morgans are still made with wood. Hence they are warming up the hammers to be ready to beat some wood back into place.
Laying down the adhesive tape.... Surface of the concrete is irregular.... Basically they are conforming the tape adhesive to have intimate contact with the surface.... removing any possible air bubbles.... Edit: Orrrr they are pounding in yellow tape nails....
"First we beat this tape into submission, then the competition, THEN THE WORLD" Somebody reminds them they're French and they scale back the plan to only include the tape. Tape comes up following the first pit stop....
