Yup...I guess the rest of the car does not matter.... But why then sell a $45,000 MINI when a $10,000 Hyundai/Kia toaster has the same radio?! Makes me wonder why mini has put the emphasis on tech, which is becoming generic.... And lost their way on the car.... Opps....the sales numbers tend to agree.... My real question.... A 2 year old Kia/Hyundai can get a FIRMWARE UPDATE to have Car play/Android auto.... but mini needs a full refresh....OUCH!! Gotta love the pics....a guy driving a MINI, hold up his cellphone in one hand reading it!! Super-safe!! And I get the feeling 99% of the stuff BMW is striving to do with "journey management" is already done with Google services.... Heavy traffic, leave now, etc....will tell you when to leave for work or the airport if it sees a ticket in your email if turned on...lots of great stuff if you are not an apple user!! Thank you for reading the zippy rant of the day!! Everytime I read the BMW/MINI BS I get a bad taste in the back of my mouth...taste like I'm gonna barf from the load of horse crap they are feeding me.... Talking about "future" things that my phone DOES NOW FOR FREE. No extra items...it just works. I just wish the cars had as much thought as the press releases about "dreamy" stuff you car will do that I have been doing for 2+ years....
