This year, the ice cream run will be heading to a new destination, Mackinaw City, Michigan. At the end of the run, we will join up with other MINIacs for the MINI On The Mack event. In addition to the awesome motoring and at least 2-3 ice cream stops daily, we will be visiting the New River Gorge, the Air Force Museum and the Ford Museum along the way to our destination. I seriously doubt the ability to see much of the Air force Museum in just 3 hours, unless you use a Segway or roller skates, and they are not allowed. :frown2:
We don't need no stinkin Segways..... They are allowing the MINI's to be driven inside the museum since.... "Smaller than Actual Size"...:cornut: Edit: However the F56 is excluded.... Because TOO BIG....
Yep 3 hours may not be enough, but it would be a fine 3 hours looking at planes. I'd guess one could spend more time there & catch up with folks in Dearborn. Hey Chuck if they can fit a C-133A in there they just might be able to squeeze in an F56.
It would be a speedy 3 hours...better wear your track shoes if you plan on touring that place in 3 hours and still get to Dearborn the same day. It's almost a guarantee that more than 3 hours will be spent at the museum...it is THAT interesting!
Ditto to all above regarding Air Force Museum applies to 4 hours at Greenfield Village. I grew up in the area and 4 days is not enough.
