    So I was detailing the car for autoX tomorrow and popped the bonnet.

    I'm pretty sure I know when it happened, but has anyone else ever seen this? And I thought it'd be a fun thread to start and see what other weird crap has been found under the bonnet!

    Yep had that happen to my MINI too, swallowed a Mourning Dove once. Glad I was near a car wash so I could squirt the remains outta there. If you were driving an R56 that birdie woulda been cooked nicely on the turbo. :)

    Your image got lost in the translation somewhere. If we're talking about what I think you are there was a pheasant rode with me for a couple hundred miles in the grill of a IH grain truck. Took real tools to get the last of him out.
    Sorry you qualified the thread or I would have told about the co-ed I snagged with my XKE 40+ years ago and haven't been able to shake loose from her yet though she does make for a top shelf MINI motoring co-pilot...along with a few other top shelf attributes as well.
