    Running your car at the track on weekends??
    You installed the Schrick camshaft, as that was the best at the time. And you have been thinking of upgrading your camshaft for more power in the lower rpm range to get you out of the turns and faster to the straights?? Feel the need for a bit more torque on the DD when the track isnt the issue, and yet dont want to loose that strong top end charge of the Schrick?? It is as easy as advancing the Schrick Camshaft !!     How about Compression!! Need more than the 8.3:1 with the r53?? Looking at 8.5... or 8.7 :1 compression?? Onna Budget and really dont want expense to rebuild the engine with NEW Pistons to bump the compression??

    MILL The HEAD!! Tighter combustion chambers equal more compression. With the head now closer to the crankshaft.. this make the Cam Tension close to its max travel!! Not an issue any more... Thumper Performance's New modified Cam Tension Nut!! By moving the hydraulic tension closer to the chain rail.. problem is gone!!
