    yes it's total pain that a bunch of stuff was lost from the site, but keeping that explanation on the main page puts all the info down much lower. So I'm guessing that most never see the vendor announcement or whatever any more. Could you either remove the OMG what happened stuff or shorten it A LOT to the jump to the full posting?
