Brakes Wheels 1st Gen Tires Tire Size?

    what would be a recommended tire size for an 02 R53 with 17in Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 rims?

    Assuming a 7 inch rim:

    Stock size is 205/45/17.

    I like 215/40/17. Slightly wider with a shorter/stiffer sidewall making for a more precise response.

    If you are not lowered and depending on the offset, 215/45/17 should work resulting in slightly softer ride.

    I've though about going to 215/45, but I figure if it ain't broken, why try fixing it.

    I run 215/45 to keep my speedo reading correctly. For track tires I wouldn't caer though. The shorter profile gives you a gearing advantage as well.

    215/45-17s here. Keep in mind not all tires from different makers are the same size. Width wise anyway..
