Whoa! Just watched the Top Gear broadcast on BBC America last Sunday (via Tivo) and it was S16E1!?!?

So we're now only 2 weeks/episodes behind "live"?? What happened to the 1-year delay?

Of course it's still somewhat chopped...well actually, not much... it's 1:20min!?!

Wow. Am I living in an alternate reality???

Larry, an alternate reality would be Mythbusters on Discovery Channel.

And I should know, I'm American and we know everything.

Interesting that they are now running current, albeit a few weeks behind and showing the entire show. I'm guessing the competition for all the torrents is beginning to be noticed by the Beeb.

Yeah, but you still "get" to watch 40 minutes of commercials, and the show doesn't flow the way it does in the original BBC version.

I 100% agree that the M/A version is the only way to go!

Yeah, but I have to either burn it on DVD or watch it on my computer - our flatscreen is pre-interwebz hook up. But I like that I've got it on the DVR - got a new one yesterday!
