Well I got my Top Performance Pro 1 T304 all stainless exhaust installed last Thursday and what a difference, no rolled and crimped ends on the resonator or mufflers. It's a 63mm/2 1/2" piping used throughout and glass packed straight through resonator and mufflers, A lot more free flowing and 30-35 lbs lighter than the stock setup and terminates in dual 3" titanium slanted tips. The stock system was always black inside and always had black dribble stains on the tips. But a few spirited trips in the local area and the tips are starting to chalk up. There is no droneing but is a nice deep throaty sound with a nice Burbble as you get out of the throttle.:cornut:

Looks good. Their prices seem pretty reasonable as well. I look forward to hearing how well it holds up.

What kind of warranty and can the mufflers/resonator be repacked?

There is a year warranty from the day I had it installed, and I don't see anyway to repack either unless you grind the Tig welded seams down and then re-Tig weld them and polish them out again after repacking them. I would have loved to have been able to afford the Miltec system but at close to a $1000.00 I just could not do it on my budget, maybe somewhere down the road I might be able to but just couldn't now.

Yea, the stock system was starting to rust out and acted like perhaps there was a lot of carbon accumulation inside the stock system so it is considerably lighter. The main pipe that ran from the cat to the right muffler the nuts that connected the main pipe to the cat were so rusted they could not be taken off with a wrench as they were so rusted they just rounded and had to be cut off and when the right muffler was cut loose from the left side it had a lot of large flakey rust particles. So by doing away with a lot of excess piping from one muffler to the other was a significant weight reduction as this is like I mentioned earlier is 2 1/2" all the way out to the tips and by using the Y section reduced a lot of excess piping. And the Mufflers are shorter and don't look quite as large as the stockers.

Not sure if this a good deal or not, but with only a 1 yr warranty and no way to service those mufflers.......hope it works out for you.

Dont think your going to get serviceable mufflers on any brand name exhaust system.....but I may be wrong? You need to go to a custom system that uses, say, coast mufflers, that you can unbolt and repack.

Well by serviceable I am also including the ease of changing them out, cause my experience with glass packed mufflers is that they don't last long.

Yea, my car has disintegrated a couple of Alta glass resonators. But since I have added a "glass pack" down stream of one, seemingly lasting longer. Those Coast muffler/resonators I'm talking about, can be opened up and repacked, either with regular fiber type glass, or much better, albeit, more expensive, Scrubble, that's what they call it, it is essentially SS metal shavings, lasts virtually forever.

Here is a video I made yesterday. There is no droning when cruising around town with the windows up and the stereo off, you can talk normal and you just hear some of the exhaust out the back. Now if you get on it as shifting through the gears and if running it up to around 4000-5000 R.P.M's it has a Deep Throaty sound and has a nice Burbble when you back out of it like when coming into a curve or entering city limits.

Well seeing as how the right hand muffler developed a rust hole and I figured that the left muffler wasn't any better it has to be better than buying a new stock system or a higher priced system as my income is limited, so if it only last 2-3 years I would have the time to save up for a system like a Milltek or a like type of exhaust. I have to do my mods. a little at a time as I'm living on a small Veterans Disability Pension and Social Security so I don't have a lot left after I pay my bills and not making the kinds of money that I did before I got to the point that I could no longer work. I used to stretch Titanium wing spars for F-16's and F-18's and used to make a pretty decent living, unfortunatly I didn't work at the Aviation company long enough to qualify for a retirement pension.

As long as you are happy with your mods that's all that matters.

Thanks, but like I said the exhaust had to be replaced now so I had to get what I could afford right now, hopefully it will last as I like the sound and it's a lot freer flowing that the stock system. But if it should start to burn out the fiberglass packing and will last 2-3 years it will give me enough notice that I can save up for a good high quality system like the Miltec, and I can start putting some money back each check until I can afford one of the nicer systems.

May I ask what ya paid for the exhaust? Id be interested in one, yea yea I know all the purists say it will break, or the warranty is garbage but for the price of a "popular" brand name exhaust up front I can afford to buy an off brand exhaust, header, and a tune? So where is the real $$$ vs hp value?

Why not visit your local custom exhaust shop. Bet they could put together a nice system with some magnaflow parts for the same or less money.
