    Jack Roush Jr. leads 58 of the latest production-based sports cars to the green flag after he earns his first career pole in the No. 61 Ford Mustang GT.


    In ST, BJ Zacharias wheels the No. 196 Mini Cooper S to pole position and faces stiff competition in the opening laps of the race.

    Watched it and thought it was, as usual great, VIR action.....was sad to not see much of the MINI tho.

    Highlight of that telecast was the two Porsches flying up the uphill esses one after another and catching air on every gaiter, lap after lap. It takes a pair to throw those cars around going full throttle up the hill. That's a 5th gear, foot-on-the-floor hill.
