This is a run that takes you down through the Hill Country, then up into Dublin, Texas, home of the second Dr. Pepper bottling plant, which is still in operation. (They only bottle on certain days, so call ahead if you want to see it live.) The run then ends up in Strawn, Texas, home to Mary's Cafe, and some of the best chicken fried steak around these parts. A group of enthusiasts did the first "Dublin Run" this spring, and plan to make it an annual event.
