    I can't figure out why they think it's unfair??? Isn't it unfair if everything is union built??? I'm sure the non-union workers are licensed trade workers.

    I guess they are worried about the flow of capital too....like no flow of capital! maybe they should travel to Oakland and join the protesters over there :crazy::cryin::confused5:

    More expensive and it would take longer too, you know after all the breaks and then leaving at 3 for the day. Their just not happy unless their bitching at something.

    Unions have their place as mentioned about the West (BG) Virginia coal miners and what they had to go thru so many years ago. But the tail began to wag the dog and now look what it has gotten them. It goes to marketplace and value. Price your widgets well above what one can be bought for at wallyworld and you will have lots of widgets for sale for a long time - metaphorically speaking.

    That's right give me a job were I'm paid for my hard work, not the deal everyone negotiated.

    Can't imagine a $4.7MM project going up in California with work done by un-licensed contractors. State and city inspectors would be all over that. Especially new construction in a flood zone. California seems to be over regulated as it is. Sure, work probably gets done by un-licensed contractors who risk getting caught.....
