SEL Model 904-A OBDII Adapter The SEL 904-A OBDII sending unit simplifies the installation of a coolant temperature gauge in 2007 and newer Mini Coopers. The unit is designed for the new Marshall 7474 stepper motor coolant temp gauge that is made to match the Mini’s instruments. The 904-A unit works by retrieving the coolant temperature data from the vehicle ECU and generating the electrical interface signals required by the Marshall gauge. Gauge light dimming is controlled by a screwdriver adjustment on the sending unit. The 52mm Marshall gauge will fit in most of the popular gauge pods available for the Mini. Sending unit Installation is extremely simple and consists only of connecting the OBDII and Marshall gauge cables. The 904-A unit is compact at 3 x 2 x 1 inches and affords easy installation under the Mini dash. Unit will be priced at $79 and scheduled to be available in November 2010.
