Vintage Cars at Mid-Ohio

Went today. Accidentally entered into the car show and got to drive the track a little.

 

How does one accidentally end up in the Car Show?

 

Oh. Ya. So I'm driving to find a parking spot and this guy signals me in and says just check in at the tent. So me "do do do" go up to the tent and let them know I'm checking in. I get all this stuff to sign and I'm confused until we walk back to the car and my dad says, " you know you just signed up for a car show?"
That's how.

 

Didja win? I did the same thing last year, but won...God only knows how, since I had not even washed my car. Go figure. However, mine was the only Gen 1 R53 in a field of Gen 2s and newer...guess someone [besides me] was confused....

 

No. My car was pretty dirty. Nick brought me a rag up but it was futile.

 

Great story !! Too bad you didn't win,place or show but you got to have nice day with your dad.

All I did was to wipe off the rear window and my burnt orange holeys.

Missed seeing you & your friends Jon. Not one Mini on the property. So very sad. Very poor turnout of all types of cars is it the economy, rain or???
