Glad it did not come through the windshield.

    Deer on the course

I know how that feels. I hit a fawn in my RX-7 at the Duryea Hill Climb in Reading, PA several years ago. Luckily for me, it was small enough that it went under the nose of the RX. I was granted a rerun but was still unable to calm down enough to make a proper pass. I don't know how fast I was going (no speedometer, it's an 85 mph one) but I was in 3rd gear taching about 8 grand when it popped over the guard rail about 10 feet in front of me. On top of that, 2 weeks later, I had a good sized doe run across the track at Summit Point, WV. Not fun.

It did come through the windshield, and then it also exited through the windshield.
