Bird carp to be more specific...

Not sure what the local birds are eating around my shop, but whatever it is, it's powerful stuff...

I always do a quick once over of my MINI looking for any bird deposits... Yep, found one as I was leaving the shop today.. Wiped it off when I got home and you can tell it started to eat through the clear coat... The last bad one ate through the clear, through the base coat and into the primer...:mad2:

So is there anything out there that people are using thats a good barrier to bird carp?

    Damn birds...:mad5:

    Thanks Dave....
Now all I need to do is wait until they get more in stock and in the meantime wrap my MINI in a giant condom while it sits in front of the shop.....

Damn, they are 20 minutes from my house over in new Albany....I'll give them a call in the morning...

I knew you would like them since they are close to you. If you call you may get Bonney on the phone, if Todd Cooperider the owner is in ask fo him. He is a great guy with a lot of knowledge.

    Whoo Hoo...
Just got off the phone with Bonney.... She has a few bottles that she has that she keeps for emergencies... I'm getting one of them...:D
I'm meeting with them this afternoon and she will fix me up with everything that's needed.... Cleaner prep, application pads and micro towels...

    I met Bonnie and Todd...
Todd knew his stuff, had me go a slightly different route....
I got a similar product to the Kamikaze and a sacrificial coating more towards chemical protection since my major concern was bird poop with almost the shine as the Kamikaze...
He said kamikaze was tops for shine....
Also got the Prep and a product that will remove any iron from the paint similar to the Sonax that removes the iron from the brake dust that gets on the wheels...
He fixed me up with applicator pads and microfiber towels....
    I'm all set now...
    Thanks for the suggestion Dave...
